Alex Collister

Alex’s passion for music has been the one constant throughout his life. Growing up in a musical family in Cleveland Ohio, and graduating from Berklee College of Music, Alex followed his creative journey to Los Angeles.

A classically trained pianist, Alex expanded his capabilities to guitar, bass, and drums to become a reliable performer who could fill any role. A highlight of his performing career is playing for a ten thousand person audience in New Zealand, as well as a sold-out crowd at LA’s legendary Troubadour. Being a comfortable multi-instrumentalist has helped his ability to be an all-in-one pop music producer, working with such artists as Derran Day, Mike Taylor and many others. Working with Derran, Alex co-wrote the song “My Word” which premiered in the season wrap-up for Oprah’s docu-series, “Black Love”.

Omnisphere has always been a perfect fit for his productions, and a staple of his sonic imprint. Alex has been a member of the Spectrasonics team since 2017, and is proud and humbled to be able to design patches for the Omnisphere and Trilian libraries.
