Super groovy retro-lo-fi demo from maestro Ned! Shows how well the original Trilogy Acoustic Bass in Trilian works in a Acid Jazz kind of mood. There's a bit of it all here, True Staccato triggering, double stops, Slides and glisses. The beauty is that Ned was able to play all of this very easily all from the main "True Staccato" patch....no need from complex programming, or program changes....it's all in this one patch. You can almost feel the smoke of the club....nice one Ned!

Hans put this demo together to show the punch of the Modern Slap Bass in Trilogy...which is also available in Trilian. You can hear the Hammer-ons, trills, Pops and release noises really well here...Makes all the difference in the world to have so many different articulations available for the same electric bass. All the Clavs, Wah-wah and synth comping parts are from Trilian too.

Great example of how well Trilian's 5-string Studio Bass sits in a track. This is using the Bridge position and featuring the Ampeg™ Amp channel. Larry played this track completely live from his MIDI Guitar triggering Trilian for Bass, tracking with drummer Tony James.....no editing!

A wonderfully personal demo - really shows the potential of Trilian as a truly expressive instrument in the hands of a great player. Nick improvised this piece in two passes: First the Adagio Strings from Omnisphere and then the legacy Trilogy Acoustic Upright from Trilian. Nick used the Solo Legato mode to great effect here, as you can hear how smooth it plays...even on Acoustic sounds.

In this track, acclaimed New York session keyboardist and recording artist Philippe Saisse uses only Spectrasonics instruments and features Trilian. Philippe starts right off showing the warmth and smooth triggering of Trilian's Moog and Oberheim synth Basses. The beautiful "Air Pad" is from Omnisphere. Once the B section kicks in you'll hear the "Marcus" style melody from the Modern Funk bass, which is mixed with some Trilian synth doubles for the lead. Believe it or not, the cool Rhodes sound is the "Jaco Harmonics" from Trilian. The Electric Funk lines are doubled with another track of the "Old School Funk" bass too.

Great example of the original Trilogy Rock and Roll bass which is also in Trilian, which has heavy overdrive in the samples and some serious attitude! Notice also how well all the synths sounds work together here....they are all from Trilian too. The Classic Pick Bass is used in the bridge.

This acoustic bass originally came from Trilogy and was played in real-time.

We posted this demo twice to show the flexibility of the Acoustic Bass sounds, which have both Tube Mics and Direct Pickup signals...which you can easily mix to taste on the Trilian interface.

This version shows a mix favoring the Microphone, with some added Room ambience.

The other file shows the same demo with more of the pickup and just a little of the Mic.

Here's a heavy one ala-Chris Squire/Jack Bruce that Patrick made by running the Rock and Roll bass through a distortion plug-in. Cool use of the harmonics at the end too! Ending ambience is from Atmosphere.
