This is an addendum to The Stand-alone Host “Rack” page. DIGITAL PERFORMER It is not possible to use the IAC Driver in Digital Performer as described in The Stand-alone Host “Rack” page because of MIDI feedback loop problems. To get around this, Digital Performer has its own Interapplication MIDI bus. In order to create an Interapplication MIDI bus, go to “Interapplication MIDI...”, under the “Setup” menu, and click on the “Add” button below the “Outputs:” box. Rename the output you created “Spectrasonics” by double clicking on it. The “Spectrasonics” bus you created will be available in both Digital Performer and the stand-alone Power PC-based host application to allow MIDI communication between them. |
