Corinne Bailey Rae’s grammy-nominated debut is getting a lot of attention and has a great vibe about it, and one thing struck us while listening — that Stylus RMX is all over the tracks… a great example of tasty drum programming for soulful pop music. Nice work guys!
Several of the producers on the album use Stylus RMX:

Steve Bush
Producer and Programmer Steve Bush, recently told us a little about his use of Stylus RMX, “Over the years I’ve spent countless hours trying to make the right ’sounding’ drums fit the right ‘groove’ of a track and with only limited sucess at best. Stylus RMX now allows me to very quickly dial up countless great rhythm tracks (I use Backbeat and Retro Funk SAGE Xpanders all the time), that sync effortlessly with my Pro Tools sessions. This is especially powerful when I’m writing, as tempos and grooves need to be changed literally on the fly and Stylus RMX gives me enormous flexibilty.”
He added, “I particularily love the drag and drop MIDI file capability for each loop. No more waiting for the loop to catch up or kick in, just drop the MIDI file for the loop onto a MIDI track, repeat to end and check to see if the song’s in the top twenty yet!”
