The most impressive thing is that everything was played in real-time...this isn't one of those "assembled" sequencer demos, and it really shows the potential of Trilogy as a truly expressive instrument in the hands of a great player. Nick improvised this piece in two passes: -First the Adagio Strings from Atmosphere, and then the Full Range Acoustic Upright from Trilogy. Nick used the Solo Legato mode to great effect here, as you can hear how smooth it plays...even on Acoustic sounds. The harder you play on this particular Acoustic Bass sound, you get a real gliss up, which makes a huge difference in the expression and realism of the sound. Also, you can hear how much realism the release noise layer adds too.
