Groove Menu MIDI mode!

Groove Menu MIDI mode is a brand new way of working in Stylus RMX. What it means is that a key is assigned to trigger a groove instead of a slice. But the cool thing is that although it may seem like “normal audio loops” mapped to the MIDI notes, Groove Control is actually working in the background…so you still have all the benefits of ultra-high quality tempo changing, edit groups, unique fx for each groove and even the amazing Chaos Designer feature too!

Groove Menu MIDI mode lets you play any Suite of grooves in RMX from your MIDI controller in real-time! (That’s why we call it the REALTIME Groove Module!)

With the Favorites function in the Browser, you can easily create your own groove menus for different projects. It’s a fast and easy way to combine different grooves from the core library, the classic library, the SAGE Xpanders and REX files of your own audio too!

Groove Menu mode is useful even if you only use a mouse. You can drag and drop MIDI files in Groove Menu mode and use this to create elaborate groove combinations – all on a single MIDI channel! Another way to use the drag and drop feature is to create linear tracks on a single channel -which is incredible with the acoustic drum groove SAGE Xpanders like Backbeat and Retro Funk!

Below is an amazing example by St?phane Bonvallet of what Groove Menu MIDI Mode can do. This demo was created in realtime, by simply playing a keyboard. There are no effects used and everything you hear is entirely Stylus RMX playing a single MIDI channel part!
