RMX has a special Kit Mode that allows you to work with thousands of interchangeable “Kit Modules” that are provided in the core library. There are separate kit modules for each type of sound (Kick, Snare, Hi-Hats, Claps, etc) The great thing about the way this works is that you can quickly and independantly change sounds for one of the modules -Kicks for instance- without affecting the other modules in the kit. All of the associated samples and mapping is integrated into each kit module (according to the GM MIDI mapping specification), so they can be interchangeable on the fly. This way you don’t have to think about key mapping issues like on a traditional sampler, so it’s much simpler, faster and more inspiring to build up a kit while you are creating and sequencing. Modules can also be easily layered to create complex sounds. Each Module has its own Mixer channel, comprehensive synth parameters and independant fx rack too!

Kits can even be shared cross-platform and cross-host! RMX comes with hundreds of killer kit patches in a wide variety of genres as a starting point for your own creativity.
