The Stylus RMX package comes with a special SAGE Converter software utility that does a simple one-time conversion of Spectrasonics Groove Control™ libraries directly into SAGE format for use with Stylus RMX. This means you can use your Groove Control activated CD-ROMs of BackBeat, Retro Funk, Metamorphosis, Vocal Planet, Bizarre Guitar and Liquid Grooves Groove Control inside the new Stylus RMX virtual instrument.

The great thing about this feature is that the Groove Control libraries gain all the benefits of the new SAGE technology in the conversion process….so all the features you’ll be reading about the new Stylus RMX in the coming days applies to all the Groove Control library material too!

We will also be adding support for all the ILIO Groove Control-activated CD-ROM libraries to the SAGE Converter utility by the end of the year, so you will also be able to use Skippy’s NoizBox, Big Bad Beats, Ethno Techno and Stark Raving Beats in Stylus RMX as well.

This is a tremendous benefit for our users that already have invested in our Groove Control CD-ROM sample libraries. The conversion process actually optimizes the libraries for use in Stylus RMX, and the libraries convert into neatly organized suites in the Stylus RMX browser….very slick!
