![]() A common misconception about Stylus RMX is that it is simply an update to the original “Classic Stylus”, when in fact it is a completely new instrument, with a totally redesigned interface AND a brand new cutting-edge Core Library! We are really proud of this new core library and are excited to hear what our customers create with it. The new Stylus RMX Core Library has nearly triple the sounds and grooves of the original Stylus! There are thousands of new Grooves and Sounds that we’ve developed specifically to take advantage of the new S.A.G.E. technology. Many of the new grooves are also presented with separate elements, so it’s really easy to create and customize your own grooves by simply mixing and matching different elements in real-time. You’ll appreciate how cool the new layout is the moment you start working with RMX. The focus of the original Classic Stylus core library was mainly on vinyl sounding loops (hence the name “Stylus”). Since RMX stands for “REMIX”, the new core library has been broadened extensively to cover a much wider range of Remix, Sound Design, Electronic, Urban and Modern Filmscore genres. Under the direction of award-winning producer Eric Persing, our newly-expanded creative team of sound and groove designers literally spans the globe, so RMX truly has a diverse, “international” sound and feel. The extremely versatile sounds and grooves of the new RMX core library are invaluable in any kind of modern music production. The new RMX core library also contains a brand new Sound Menu section with loads of incredible single hits and unique effects. You’ll get to hear what the new core library can do when the RMX demos page goes live soon! Oh yes…..and of course RMX contains the complete original Classic Stylus Core library too! ![]() |
