The old process of searching for the MIDI file and matching the right patch to hear it at the right tempo is GONE! This is incredibly freeing on a creative level because you are always browsing and working with grooves in Real-time at the host tempo.

This means that you can try mixing and matching grooves against each other in real-time and the combination possibilities have dramatically increased. When you try RMX grooves against tracks in your host, they are not only playing at the correct tempo, but they’re also synchronized to the beat! So you can instantly get an idea of how a groove feels, instead of guessing. As you try different grooves within Stylus RMX, they are also automatically in sync with each other. This also allows you to work extremely fast, because you can try ideas quickly and see if they work, without having to search for MIDI Files or guessing what a groove will sound like when it is “locked” to your track…because it always is!
